Jean-Francois Boivin

Jean-Francois (Jeff) Boivin, P.E. is a seasoned risk control expert with extensive experience in risk evaluation and loss prevention for high challenge industries. Currently serving as a Sr Risk Control Consultant at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since February 2022, Jeff previously worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty as a Senior Account Engineer, focusing on risk management in industries such as power generation and mining. Prior roles include Regional Account Engineer at AIG, where expertise in oil and gas and chemical sectors was applied, and Project Manager at Roche, developing inspection programs for oil refinery operations. Earlier experience as an Engineering Specialist at FM Global involved evaluating property and machinery risks, combined with a role as Utilities Specialist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals overseeing plant maintenance and operations. Jeff holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke.
