Pedro Mairos

Pedro Mairos is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in marine underwriting. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Global Underwriting Officer for Marine at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, Pedro has successfully launched and established marine operations in the UK and coordinates with European marine offices while being a member of the UK Leadership team. Previous roles include significant positions at AXA Corporate Solutions, where Pedro held various leadership roles in cargo underwriting and contributed to the UK Executive Committee. Pedro's career also features international experience in the Gulf and Far East regions, alongside strategic roles in different areas of marine insurance since the early 2000s. Educational achievements include an Honors Degree in Applied Foreign Languages from Université Paris 13.
