Shane O'Neill

Shane O'Neill is an experienced insurance professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Property Ireland at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since July 2019, Shane also holds the title of Senior Property Underwriter. Previously, Shane worked at AIG from November 2013 to July 2019 as a Senior Underwriter for Property & Energy, where responsibilities included underwriting and managing various accounts while fostering customer and broker relationships. Prior to AIG, Shane was a Key Underwriting Account Manager at Aviva for over a decade and also served as an Underwriting Manager at Willis Management Dublin Limited for a brief period. Educational credentials include a Chartered Insurance Practitioner qualification from The Insurance Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Trinity College Dublin.
