Simon Maddick

Simon Maddick is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in the casualty sector, currently serving as Vice President at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since July 2019. Previously, Simon held various senior underwriting roles at AIG from June 2007 to July 2019, including AIGRM Senior Underwriter focusing on primary casualty loss sensitive accounts, and Lexington Senior Underwriter specializing in surplus lines for primary and excess casualty. Simon began a career in underwriting with Lex-London as both an underwriter and assistant underwriter, managing excess casualty accounts across multiple industries. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Commerce from the University of Birmingham and completed a program in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University.
