Stephen Obal

Stephen Obal is currently the Assistant Vice President for the Western Region Property at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Property Broker at Willis Towers Watson and as a Production Underwriter at AFM Insurance, where responsibility involved marketing products in targeted regions, analyzing financial and risk data, and maintaining a profitable book of business. Stephen's career began at FM Global, where various positions included Production Underwriter and Consultant Engineer, focusing on risk mitigation and engineering solutions for numerous companies. A Civil Engineering Student Intern at the City of Los Angeles, Stephen contributed to significant sewer projects. Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
