Terry Thompson

Terry Thompson is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Berkshire Partners. Prior to joining Berkshire in 2020, Terry was COO at the global law firm Ropes & Gray LLP, where he was also CFO. He began his career at Boston Consulting Group and Coopers & Lybrand, and also previously held executive leadership and operations roles at DF King Worldwide, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Mirant Corporation, and Delta Air Lines. Terry received a B.S. from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
