Clive Davis

Director Of Music at Berkshire School

Clive Davis serves as the Director of Music at Berkshire School since August 2000, where responsibilities include directing choral and instrumental ensembles, leading electronic music classes, and overseeing independent studies in composition and music theory. From 2005 to 2012, Clive served as an Adjunct Professor at Simon's Rock College of Bard, teaching the history and development of electronic music and courses in electronic music composition. Additional experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Berkshire Children's Chorus from 2002 to 2010, and consulting for the Musical Instruments Collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 1992 to 1995. Clive was also a Graduate Assistant at Boston University from 1990 to 1994, instructing in ear-training, sight-singing, harmony, and functional theory, along with a role as Assistant Manager of ALEA III, a contemporary music ensemble, from 1989 to 1990. Clive holds a DMA in Music from Boston University and a BM in Music from The Johns Hopkins University.
