Adam Lewis

Audio & Projections Supervisor at Berkshire Theatre Group

Adam Lewis is currently the Audio & Projections Supervisor at Berkshire Theatre Group. Prior to that, they were a Sound Intern at Hangar Theatre from June 2019 to August 2019, where they were responsible for complete sound checks before performances, troubleshooting problems, and prep work for changeovers. Adam also assisted with Electrics changeovers and mix sound playback for productions as assigned. Other responsibilities included functioning backstage as a Mic Technician during Mainstage or KIDDSTUFF musicals as assigned, setting up and maintaining the comm system for each production, and setting up and maintaining video monitors for musical productions. Additionally, they maintained cleanliness and promoted a safe working environment in all Sound areas in the theatre and related work and storage spaces in cooperation with Electrics staff. Adam also repaired and maintained equipment as needed.

Adam Lewis has also held the position of Undergraduate Assistant at Purdue University from August 2018 to May 2021, where they were responsible for assisting the Director of Bands with the daily operations of the band office and assisting with various marching band activities. Additionally, they served as a Production Intern at CIVIC THEATRE OF GREATER LAFAYETTE INC from January 2018 to May 2018, where they were responsible for assisting with various production aspects of the theater, including set construction, set design, and stage management.

Adam Lewis attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and earned their high school diploma. Adam then went on to Purdue University and earned their Bachelor of Arts in Sound For the Performing Arts.
