Andreas Ohlwein

Andreas Ohlwein has extensive experience in the firefighting and emergency services sector, beginning as a firefighter in training at Berliner Feuerwehr from April 1983 to April 1985 and progressing through various roles, including a pivotal position as a secondary press spokesperson and instructor for emergency service training. Ohlwein held significant positions, such as Deputy Head of the Ambulance Service School and staff member responsible for fundamental issues regarding emergency services. Since August 2001, Ohlwein has served as a pensioner and staff member in communication at Berliner Feuerwehr, continuing to contribute as an independent consultant with the Senate Department for Integration, Labor and Social Affairs’ Anti-Discrimination Office since April 2020.
