Christina Shane

Vice President, Tax at Berlin Packaging

Christina Shane has a strong background in tax and financial management. Christina began their career as a Senior Tax Accountant at Wolf & Company LLP in 1998 and later became a Tax Manager at Corn Products International in 2000. At Corn Products International, they oversaw the entire US tax compliance process and monitored the global effective tax rate. In 2005, Christina joined Exelon as a Tax Manager, where they led the tax function for PECO Energy Company and was responsible for financial statement reporting and disclosures. Christina then moved on to Catamaran in 2008, where they served as the Senior Tax Director. At Catamaran, they managed all aspects of the tax function, including tax accounting, audits, and compliance. Christina joined CTS Corporation in 2015 as the Tax Director, where they led the tax function for the multinational component manufacturing business and implemented international planning mechanisms to reduce the effective tax rate. Currently, Christina holds the position of Vice President, Tax at Berlin Packaging, where they continue to utilize their expertise in tax management.

Christina Shane obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997. Christina then pursued a Master's degree in Tax at the DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Christina has additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Master of Taxation from DePaul University.
