Reinout S.

Reinout S. has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Reinout started their career as a Partner at Optiver in 1998 and worked there until 2004. After a sabbatical as a Globetrotter from 2004 to 2005, Reinout joined Landesbank Berlin AG as a Portfolio Manager Securitisation. Reinout then moved on to Berliner Sparkasse, where they held various positions including Structured Finance Portfolio Manager, Treasury Manager, Head of Treasury Credit Department, Head of Organisational Development, and currently serves as the Head of WpHG and MaRisk Compliance. In their current role, Reinout is responsible for implementing international and national regulatory standards, managing the regulatory monitoring system, overseeing the Whistleblowing Process, and maintaining relationships with external entities such as the ECB, BaFin, and external auditors. Reinout is also registered with BaFin as the "Compliance Beauftragte" for Berliner Sparkasse.

Reinout S. completed their Master's degree in Financial economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the years 1992 to 1998. Reinout also earned additional certifications, including a CAIA Charterholder certification from CAIA in June 2009 and a Lehrgang Compliance certification from S-Hochschule in June 2021.
