Daniel Kagan

Daniel Kagan is a seasoned trial lawyer at Berman & Simmons, where experience spans over three decades, focusing on plaintiff personal injury and product liability cases, particularly serious wrongful death, product liability, and professional negligence matters throughout Maine. As a Senior Governor with the American Association for Justice since 1998, Kagan advocates for justice and the rights of injured persons, emphasizing the importance of the right to trial by jury. Additionally, Kagan serves as a Governor and Past President of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, which aims to uphold the civil justice system and enhance trial advocacy standards. A graduate of Boston College Law School with a Juris Doctor degree, Kagan also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College.
