Arun Thamilvaanan started their career as an Intern at APM PLASTICS SDN. BHD. in 2010. Arun then moved to Price Solutions Sdn.Bhd., where they worked as a Training Executive from 2010 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for identifying training needs, designing training programs, conducting appraisals, and ensuring statutory training requirements were met. Arun then joined Tan Chong Group in 2015 as a Learning Associate in the Human Resources department before being promoted to Senior Associate in Industrial Relations | Human Resources in 2017. In this role, they led investigations, assisted in collective agreement processes, and provided disciplinary advice. Arun Thamilvaanan joined Bermaz Auto Berhad in 2018, initially as an Assistant Manager in Human Resources and was later promoted to Manager, Human Resource in August 2021. In their current role, they are responsible for monitoring HRDF funds, advising on HRDF applications and compliance, and providing monthly reports on HRDF related information.
Arun Thamilvaanan started their education at SMK Sungai Choh from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Art/Art Studies, General. Arun then pursued a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree at University Selangor from 2007 to 2010, specializing in Finance, General. In addition to their formal education, Arun also obtained additional certifications. In September 2015, they received the Prince 2 certification from APMG International. Arun further enhanced their skills by completing the Train The Trainer certification program offered by PSMB & Tan Chong Motor Assemblies in April 2016.
