Simon Morton

Simon Morton serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer and Consultant Anaesthetist at Bermuda Hospitals Board since December 2018. Prior to this, Simon held the position of Locum Consultant Anaesthetist at St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from July to December 2018. Simon gained extensive experience as an Anaesthesia Specialty Trainee within the NHS from August 2013 to July 2018 and worked as an Intensive Care Registrar at Royal North Shore Hospital between 2012 and 2013. Simon's earlier roles include Anaesthesia Core Trainee and Foundation Doctor within the NHS and Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, respectively, spanning from August 2008 to July 2012. Simon earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Newcastle University, completing studies in 2008.
