Jason Hershberger

Jason Hershberger is an accomplished psychiatrist currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at One Brooklyn Health, overseeing operations at Brookdale, Interfaith, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Centers since October 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Interim Chair at Interfaith Medical Center and Chair at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center from March 2013 to October 2020. Jason has also held positions as Chief of Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Chairman at Long Island College Hospital. Additional roles include Assistant Commissioner of Correctional Health Services for the City of New York and a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center. Educational qualifications include a degree in Psychology from the University of Chicago and a medical degree from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
