Melissa Cortes

Melissa Cortes has extensive experience in sales and marketing, currently serving as the Gerente de Ventas Nacionales at Bern Hotels & Resorts Panama since August 2012. In this role, Melissa is responsible for client retention and growth within the Panama Pacifico and maritime industries, generating business opportunities for group and individual room reservations. Prior to this, Melissa held positions as Ejecutiva de Ventas Nacionales and Asistente de Ventas Corporativas. An early career at The Walt Disney Company involved demonstrating and selling merchandise at the Contemporary Resort Hotel as part of the Disney International College Program. Melissa also worked as an Asistente de Propiedad Intelectual at ARIAS FABREGA & FABREGA. Educational credentials include a Licenciatura en Publicidad & Mercadeo with a focus on Sales Management from Universidad Latina de Panamá and a Bachiller in Commerce with an emphasis on Marketing & Bilingual Advertising from Instituto Panamericano.
