Armin Brun

After completing his business studies at the University of Bern, Armin Brun worked at the Luzerner Kantonalbank in marketing and in various management positions in sales. In 2001 he moved to PostFinance, where he was a member of the management team and headed the business customer area and seven years later the market and sales area. During this time, Armin Brun successfully completed the NDS bank management at the IFZ in Zug and completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau and the Strategic Leadership Program at IMD in Lausanne. Armin Brun has been a member of the executive board of BEKB since January 1, 2018, and took over the function of CEO on July 1, 2019. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University and Society Foundation and is on the Board of Directors and Board Committee of the Association of Swiss Cantonal Banks (VSKB). Armin Brun is also active on the board of the Trade and Industry Association (HIV) and in the National Economic Society (VWG) of the canton of Bern.
