Gerald Burri has a substantial work experience in the financial and information security sectors. Gerald started their career at Swissair/Atraxis as the Head of Datawarehouse and Management Information, where they worked on various projects and models. Gerald then joined UBS, holding multiple roles, including Director of Security Risk Control in Asia-Pacific and Executive Director of Risk MIS & Reporting in WM Europe. At UBS, they also led the information security risk assessment team and defined the methodology for assessing information security risks. Gerald later joined Berner Kantonalbank AG as the Head of Operational Risk Control, responsible for bank-wide operational risk control, business continuity management, and crisis management. Additionally, Gerald Burri served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Information Security Forum, where they chaired the Strategy Subcommittee and oversaw finances.
Gerald Burri attended the University of Zurich from 1984 to 1990, where they studied Business Information Technology.
