Jussi Jaatinen

Nordic Business Manager at Berner Oy

Jussi Jaatinen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a guest-conductor for multiple philharmonic orchestras until 2012. In 2005, they became a conductor for Kamerorkest Pulcinella, Utrecht, Wagenings Symfonieorkest, and Utrechts Blazers Ensemble until 2012. From 2007 to 2013, Jussi Jaatinen served as a conductor for Amikejo Youth Orchestra, Orkest de Volharding, and Nieuw Kamerorkest. In 2008, they joined Utrechts Conservatorium as a conductor and main-subject teacher for orchestral conducting, a role they held until 2011.

Transitioning to the corporate world, Jussi Jaatinen worked as a research worker at MetropoliLab from November 2014 to February 2015. Jussi then joined Suomen tulli – Finnish Customs as a thesis researcher from May 2015 to September 2015. In 2016, they took on the role of a product specialist at Ordior Oy from August 2016 to November 2016, and subsequently worked as a product manager at Oy G. W. Berg & Co Ab from December 2016 to December 2018.

Jussi Jaatinen's most recent position, starting in January 2019, is with Berner where they initially served as a business manager until January 2022, after which they were promoted to the role of Nordic Business Manager, a position they currently hold.

Jussi Jaatinen obtained a Master of Food Science degree from the University of Helsinki, specializing in Food Chemistry, Food Safety, and Analytical Chemistry. Jussi pursued this degree from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they completed a Bachelor of Food Sciences degree at the University of Helsinki, focusing on Food Chemistry and Food Safety. This degree was earned between 2012 and 2014.

In addition to their food science education, Jussi Jaatinen also has a background in music. Jussi received a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from the Maastricht Academy of Music ZUYD. The exact start year for this degree is not provided, but it extended until 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from Codarts Rotterdam | University of the Arts from 1998 to 2002.
