Sarah Ryter is a Laboratory Expert at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine since April 2022, focusing on outbreak preparedness and response with responsibilities that include establishing sequencing capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa, optimizing nanopore sequencing protocols, and conducting bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data.
