Law Clerk at BLB&G

Abie Green is a resident in New York Office* and is BLB&G's Columbia Law School Fellow. She is seconded for two years to work full-time in the Domestic Violence Project at the Urban Justice Center, a public interest organization, while continuing to participate in firm events, meetings, and programs. At the conclusion of her secondment, Abie will become an associate at BLB&G.

Abie is a graduate of Columbia Law School. During law school, she interned for the International Rescue Committee, working with refugees and asylees on immigration issues, and also served as a clinic student at the Columbia Human Rights Clinic, where she worked on international human rights law issues related to socio-economic rights violations in Yemen. Abie also interned for the Seychelles Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission, focusing specifically on socio-economic rights and how to best structure reparations for those who had their land and livelihoods taken by the authoritarian regime. Right before joining BLB&G and while completing her final semester in law school, she served as a pro bono scholar at the Legal Aid Society, working full-time in their Juvenile practice with foster children and youth. Abie is also proficient in American Sign Language.
