Nibu Balan

Nibu Balan started their work experience in 2012 as a Freelance Aptitude Trainer, specifically focusing on quantitative aptitude training. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer for Tata Consultancy Services. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of a Java Developer and IT Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, and worked in that position until 2016.

In 2017, Nibu held multiple positions, starting with a role as a Bloomberg Lab Graduate Assistant at New York University from May to September. Nibu then worked as a Risk Management Analyst Intern at Global Risk Management Advisors from September to December.

Nibu joined AB Bernstein in 2018 as a US Electronic Trading Analyst, and held this position until 2020. Nibu then advanced to the role of AVP Electronic Trading at AB Bernstein, which they held until February 2022. Currently, Nibu is serving as Vice President - Electronic Trading at AB Bernstein, starting in February 2022.

Nibu Balan has a solid educational background in the fields of financial engineering and computer science. Nibu completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Financial Engineering from New York University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Anna University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Nibu Balan completed their higher secondary education at Velammal Matric Hr Sec School, specializing in Computer Science, from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Nibu Balan has obtained various certifications in the financial industry. Nibu acquired the Series 63 certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in August 2019. Prior to that, they obtained the Series 57 certification from FINRA in April 2019. Nibu also acquired the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification from FINRA in March 2019. Furthermore, Nibu Balan completed the Series 7 certification from FINRA in December 2018.
