Catherine Hamrick

Catherine Hamrick serves as a Copywriter and Content Strategist at Berry College since 2019, bringing extensive experience from various roles including Senior Copywriter at The Lumistella Company and Communications Director at the University of Delaware. Catherine possesses a substantial background in literary publications, having contributed to numerous prestigious journals and magazines including Better Homes and Gardens and Southern Accents. As a recognized writer, Catherine has received accolades such as the 2023 International Merit Award from the Atlanta Review, and multiple nominations for the Pushcart Prize and the Natasha Trethewey Poetry Prize. Catherine holds a B.A. in English and French, summa cum laude, from Birmingham-Southern College, and an M.A. in Communication Arts from the University of Montevallo.
