Kent Fink

Vice President Of Operations at Berry Corporation

Kent Fink has over 30 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Kent has held various roles in different companies, starting from 1989 as a Completion Engineer in Completion Services, where they designed complex multi-stage gravel packed completions.

From 1990 to 1993, Kent worked as a Project Manager at Gas Shale Production Technology, conducting research on unconventional gas resources and developing completion technologies for Shale Gas and Coalbed Natural Gas.

Kent then joined O.I.L Energy Corp as a Senior Engineer from 1993 to 1998, playing a key role in the rapid expansion of the Devonian Antrim Shale operation.

In 1998, Kent became a Senior Engineer at Coastal Oil and Gas, focusing on production and completion engineering in Western Colorado and Utah.

From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Senior Engineer at DTE Energy, primarily involved in drilling plan development and selection for Antrim Shale wells.

In 2001, they joined El Paso Production Company as a Senior Engineer, specializing in the completion and stimulation of new wells in Utah's Natural Buttes Field and Western Colorado's Piceance Basin.

From 2002 to 2010, Kent worked at Comet Energy/O.I.L. Energy as a Senior Engineer and later as Vice President, overseeing the start-up of the Wyoming CBM division.

From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Berry Petroleum Co as a Utah Technical Team Lead and Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer, responsible for managing staff and well completion design in the Uinta and Piceance Basins.

In 2013, Kent joined LINN Energy, LLC as a Team Lead, managing the engineering, planning, and geologic staff for key Linn Assets.

Since 2017, they have been serving as the Vice President of Operations at Berry Petroleum Company, LLC, overseeing operational activities.

Throughout their career, Kent has demonstrated strong expertise in technical engineering, project management, and strategic leadership in the oil and gas industry.

Kent Fink has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.
