Christian Hanelt

Christian Hanelt is an expert on the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region, with in-depth knowledge on topics such as the Arab Spring, Islam, Israel-Palestine, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Egypt. With experience at Bertelsmann Stiftung, SAT.1, and ZDF, Christian has conducted interviews with prominent leaders and produced reports from various countries in the region. Graduated from Christian-Albrechts-Universiät in Kiel and studied abroad in Syria.
