Bertus Groothandel & Distributie BV started out as a small record store in Rotterdam, in 1971. Since then, it has grown into a full-service distribution and wholesale company for music on all formats. First only as a service for record stores in The Netherlands; nowadays our customers are located literally throughout the whole world and vary from internet mail-order companies to big retail chains – while the traditional record stores still form the majority of our customers.
