Amir Hemani

Chief Executive Officer at Berwick Retirement Communities Ltd.

Amir Hemani has a diverse work experience in the senior living industry. Amir started their career as the General Manager of Sunnyside Manor Retirement Community in 2004 and later became the Director of Operations at Unicare Homes from 2008 to 2011. In 2009, they became the President of BC Seniors Living Association and also served as the Chair of the BC Assessment Initiative from 2010 to 2013. In 2011, Hemani joined Berwick Retirement Communities as the Chief Operating Officer before being promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2020. Alongside their positions at Berwick Retirement Communities, they also took on roles in other organizations, including being a Member of the Board and later the Board Chair at Effective Pricing Solutions, a group focused on efficient buying in the senior living industry. Additionally, Hemani served as the Chapter Ambassador for Aging2.0 in Vancouver, starting in 2018.

Amir Hemani attended Simon Fraser University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing & Finance.
