Elizabeth James

Elizabeth James is a seasoned professional in the field of executive search, currently serving as a Partner and Practice Head for Education at Berwick Partners, an Odgers Berndtson company, since July 2011. With a focus on supporting universities in making senior academic appointments, Elizabeth has advanced through various roles including Associate Partner and Practice Head, and Principal. Prior to this, Elizabeth gained valuable experience as an Executive Search Consultant in the public sector with Odgers Ray and Berndtson and held earlier positions as a Research Associate at Odgers and Analyst at Veredus UK. Elizabeth holds a degree from Alliance Manchester Business School, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
