Barry Whewell

Barry Whewell has extensive experience in the construction and project management sectors, currently serving as General Manager - Operations at BESIX Watpac since October 2011. In this role, Barry has held multiple titles, including General Manager Major & Special Projects and Head of Sector for Special Projects, focusing on the management and development of health and public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities across Australia. Previously, Barry worked at John Holland from January 1998 to November 2010, where responsibilities included serving as National Services Manager and Regional Services Manager, with a focus on the Western Australia region. Barry holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Preston University, earned between 1979 and 1984.
