Rafael Olona

Rafael Olona is a skilled construction management professional with extensive experience in marine and harbor projects. Currently serving as Works Manager at BESIX since July 2024, Rafael previously held a similar role at Femern Link Contractors, focusing on marine outfitting and floating operations. With a career spanning over a decade at GEOCEAN, Rafael oversaw major projects including pipeline construction and water supply marine works in various international locations such as Chile, Peru, and Bangladesh. Earlier roles include site engineering at EMCC - Groupe Vinci Construction France, marine engineering at Saipem, and QC management at Dragados SA. Rafael holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a COU from Colegio Romareda.
