Christian Solgaard

Christian Solgaard currently serves as the Head of Finance Division at Beskæftigelsesministeriet, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Christian was the Head of the Division for Labour Market Policy at The Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment, overseeing policy development for unemployed individuals and job-ready cash benefit recipients from August 2014 to December 2020. Christian's experience includes leadership roles in the Division for Labor Market Retention and the Division for Finance and Human Resources, primarily focused on budgeting, legislative implementation, and labor market initiatives. Additionally, Christian worked as an Associate Budget Officer at the United Nations, managing a substantial budget for peacekeeping operations. Educationally, Christian holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and has also studied at the University of Limerick.
