Anastasia Griva has held a variety of roles in the business and education fields. In 2021, they began working as a Lecturer above the bar (Assist. Prof.) and Lecturer below the bar at the University of Galway - J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics. In 2022, they were appointed as the Programme Director MSc in BA, UoG at the University of Galway. In 2020, they became a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellow (ALECS) at Lero. In 2019, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Galway. In 2018, they were Co-Founder at bespot. and Co-founder• Business Analytics specialist at ShopMind P.C. From 2013 to 2015, they were Business Analytics Researcher at ELTRUN, Consultant at INTRASOFT International, and Lecturer at 1st and 2nd Coding Bootcamp at Alliance For Digital Employability. In 2015, they were Business Analytics Consultant at ShopTing.
Anastasia Griva has a varied educational background. Anastasia began their studies in 2005 when they attended the General Lyceum of Galaxidi, Fokis, Greece and completed their High School majoring in Informatics in 2008. Following this, they attended the Athens University of Economics and Business and obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Management Science and Technology with a major in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Management in 2012. Anastasia then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Information Systems from the same institution, with a scholarship for excellent performance, in 2014. In 2015, they obtained a 60hours Seminar in Big Data and Business Analytics from the same university. Finally, in 2022 they will begin their Postgraduate certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at the University of Galway.
