Zachary Herring

Zachary Herring is currently a Research Assistant at The University of Alabama, focusing on autonomy, guidance, navigation, and estimation research since June 2022. In addition to this role, Zachary works with the Bessemer Airport Authority as an Aircraft Refueler and Line Service Technician, providing essential services to aircraft crews and passengers since August 2021. Previously, Zachary served as a Logistics Manager for Lightning Logistics, overseeing transportation operations for B&W Quality Growers, and as an Outbound/Inbound Logistics Manager at Southeastern Freight Lines, managing logistical processes efficiently. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering from The University of Alabama, expected in December 2024, and a degree in Operations Management with a focus on logistics and supply chain management obtained in 2019.
