As the former Vice President of Employee Communications at LinkedIn, she led global communications across 30 offices and played a crucial role in scaling the organization from 8,000 to 20,000 employees. Blythe's background in HR and leadership development includes serving as chief of staff to the chief human resources officer at Sun Microsystems and working as a certified leadership coach. Prior to Sun, Blythe served as the director of corporate communications at Intuit, where she established the employee communications function and contributed to the company's recognition as a great place to work globally. Earlier in her career, she taught English in rural Japan and began her communications career in Tokyo, working on IBM's top customer program for the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.
Apart from her professional engagements, Blythe has been an advisory board member of the University of Southern California Annenberg Center for Public Relations and continues to work with them in a consulting capacity.
