Sanjay Kalra is an operating partner in the India office and served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence since 2014.
He is an entrepreneur specializing in technology projects for healthcare, rural skilling and rural distribution chains. Sanjay is the Chairman of IHX, a Data as a Service (DaaS) provider for healthcare, a board member of Maini Materials, an EV design and precision manufacturing company, and is a board trustee of Industree Foundation, helping build an ownership-based, creative manufacturing ecosystem for 30,000 women micro-entrepreneurs.
He was Chairman of Shiv Nadar & Sanjay Kalra Associates, a US healthcare technology fund. Prior, he was the CEO of Tech Mahindra and a group executive board member of Mahindra & Mahindra.
Sanjay served as an Executive Vice President at HCL Technologies and was the CEO of DSL Software, an HCL-Deutsche Bank Joint Venture. Earlier in his career, Sanjay was a consultant for TCS and Schlumberger in Europe, Australia and Asia Pacific.
His past experiences are in product management, turning around businesses, acquisitions, joint ventures, leading high-growth businesses and engineering teams, nurturing start-ups and IPOs.
