Vatsalya Tandon

Vatsalya Tandon is an experienced investor currently with Bessemer Venture Partners since December 2023. Prior to this role, Vatsalya held various positions at McKinsey & Company from August 2021 to November 2023, including Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst. Vatsalya briefly worked at Hiration in July 2021, contributing to the development of a secondary revenue stream through corporate partnerships. As an AI Researcher at moja global from September 2020 to June 2021, Vatsalya developed AI-based spatio-temporal deforestation prediction models for Myanmar and the Philippines. A summer intern at Unilever in 2020, Vatsalya also served as an Associate at the World Health Organization, where a methodology for predicting patient volume surges using social media signals was devised. Vatsalya co-founded and led the IITK Consulting Group, facilitating collaborative projects with global organizations while studying at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering was earned in 2021.
