Lawaiian Long

Lawaiian Long has a strong background in information security, with experience in various roles throughout their career. They currently work as the Director of Information Security at Best Best & Krieger LLP (BB&K) since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Constant Companion LLC from 2021 to 2022. From 2001 to 2021, Lawaiian worked as the Information Security Manager at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. They began their career in 1999 as the Director of Information Technology at the American Red Cross Southwest Florida, a position they held until 2001.

Lawaiian Long holds a Bachelor's degree from DePauw University. They also completed a Master's degree in Information Technology from Nova Southeastern University. In addition, Long obtained a Master's of Business Administration from East Carolina University. Long has also received certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) from Microsoft.
