Bella Newell

Bella Newell is a Strategic Engagement Associate at Gravity Research since April 2024 and has served as a Diplomacy Fellow with Best Delegate Model United Nations since January 2022. Bella's experience includes a notable internship at the U.S. Department of State in Kinshasa, where Bella focused on media updates and conflict analysis, as well as a role in the Africa Regional Media Hub analyzing American sentiment in sub-Saharan Africa. Bella was President of the Boston University International Affairs Association, managing a significant budget and overseeing major conferences. With a background as Head Delegate and MUN@BU Director, Bella enhanced teams' rankings and social media presence. Additional experience includes organizing conferences with BarMUN and participating in political campaigns and logistics roles at the Georgia State Senate. Bella holds a degree in International Relations and Political Science from Boston University, focusing on Foreign Policy and Security Studies in Africa and the Middle East.
