Lorrie Carter has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various companies and roles. Lorrie started their career at Smithfield Packing Company as a Marketing Brand Manager, where they developed and maintained marketing programs and presentations. Lorrie then moved on to Tribune Company, where they held multiple roles including Marketing Research Manager, Senior Marketing Analyst, and Advertising Marketing Manager. Lorrie continued to expand their expertise at Perfect Commerce as a Marketing Manager/Director, at AdvancePath Academics as a Marketing - Data Analytics Manager, and at 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union as a Marketing Director. Lorrie joined Sentara Healthcare as a Customer Development Advisor, where they created customer and market development strategies. Lorrie also worked at Ferguson Enterprises, where they served as a Senior Manager of Digital Engagement and as a Senior Market Research Manager. Prior to their current role, they were employed at ECPI University as an Adjust Business Instructor. Most recently, Lorrie joined Therapy Brands as a Strategic Marketing Director, responsible for defining go-to-market and expansion strategies within the Mental and Behavioral Health segment. Currently, Lorrie is serving as the Director of Financial Health Customer Marketing at Best Egg.
Lorrie Carter obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from William & Mary, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Lorrie then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing at the Florida Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1999.
