Matthew Besselman

Matthew Besselman has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Financial Systems & Process Automation at Best Egg. Prior to this, Matthew worked at WSFS Bank as the Vice President, Business Performance & Analysis (FP&A) from 2017 to 2022. In this role, they led various financial initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial planning, and investment modeling. Before WSFS Bank, Matthew served as a Finance Manager at AIG, a Senior Financial Analyst at Fiserv, and a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Matthew also gained experience as an Analyst and a CFO Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch, and as a Finance Co-op at Johnson & Johnson.

Matthew Besselman has a strong educational background in finance. Matthew began their academic journey at Penn State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued further education at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in finance from 2011 to 2013. Matthew further augmented their knowledge by pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in finance from the same institution, which they completed from 2013 to 2015.
