Navid Ahmadi

Navid Ahmadi is a Lead Data Scientist at Best Egg since April 2019, where significant contributions include developing an automated pricing pipeline that enhances workflow efficiency and facilitates model deployment with minimal oversight. Previously, Navid worked as a Data Scientist at Best Egg, focusing on deploying machine learning algorithms for underwriting and fraud detection using Amazon AWS SageMaker. Navid's experience also includes a fellowship at Insight Data Science, and multiple teaching and research roles at The University of Texas at Arlington, where responsibilities encompassed instructing graduate students and developing a regression model to forecast wage escalation in the construction sector. Navid's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Construction Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
