Cindi Stewart, RHIA, has extensive experience in healthcare operations and management, currently serving as the Manager of Clinical Documentation Improvement, Clinical Appeals, and Utilization Management at Nebraska Methodist Health System since August 2013. Cindi specializes in compliance, reimbursement optimization, and process improvement, with demonstrated skills in data analysis and performance enhancement. Previous roles include oversight of Recovery Audit Contractor functions, management of clinical denials and appeals, and quality coordination in customer service at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. Cindi holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Operations Management from Nebraska Methodist College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration from Clarkson College, along with an Associate of Science in Health Information Management Systems.
