Michael Kearns

Michael Kearns is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in healthcare and higher education. Currently serving as the CISO and Director of Infrastructure & Networking/Communications at Nebraska Methodist Health System since April 2019, Michael is responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide information security program. Prior to this role, Michael was a Supervisor of IT at Crouse Health, where responsibilities included planning and coordinating major information security systems while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Michael's career began at Syracuse University, where, as Technical Services Manager, oversight included strategic planning and management of information technology services. Michael holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Syracuse University and is a Certified Information Security Manager through ISACA.
