Lynette Holloway is an experienced educator and media professional with a diverse background. Currently serving as a Chicago Teacher at Chicago Public Schools and a New York City Teacher for the NYC Department of Education, Lynette works as a substitute teacher in both in-person and remote settings. Lynette also holds the position of Senior Weekend Editor at BET Networks, a role maintained since April 2020, and is a Principal at Rachel Media since February 2008, where Lynette has produced award-nominated work and contributed to notable publications like The Root and People magazine. Additional editorial roles include Contributing Editor at theGrio and former Senior Editor at NewsOne.com. Lynette's education includes a Master of Science in Public Relations from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, a Certificate in Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism from Macalester College.
