Courtney Balliro

Courtney Balliro's work experience includes serving as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs at Beta Bionics since December 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Massachusetts General Hospital from January 2013 to December 2022, where they held various positions including Project Manager, Co-investigator, Clinical Research Nurse, and COVID Clinical Research Nurse. Before joining Massachusetts General Hospital, they worked as a Registered Nurse at the North Shore Infant and Toddler Early Intervention Program from October 2012 to January 2013, and at Barton Diabetes Center from June 2012 to August 2012. Courtney also worked as a Healthcare Team Member at Barton Diabetes Center in June 2011.

Courtney Balliro began their education at Providence College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Policy and Management, Biology, and Business from 2006 to 2010. Courtney then continued their education at North Shore Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, Courtney has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Courtney became a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts in June 2012 and obtained the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification from the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists in June 2015. Most recently, they became a Certified Clinical Research Nurse through the Certified Research Nursing Certification Council in November 2022.
