Chesarae Hall-Fletcher has a diverse range of work experience. Chesarae started their career as an Office Manager at the Law Office of Jeffrey Fletcher in 2005, where they worked until 2016. Chesarae then moved on to George Fox University, where they served as a Postgraduate Researcher from 2017 to 2019. Following that, Chesarae became a Community Grant Recipient at First Five Years Fund from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Epic Graduate School as a Professor of Research Methods. Their most recent position is as a Risk Data Analyst at BETA Healthcare Group, which they started in 2020.

Chesarae Hall-Fletcher is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theology/Theological Studies at the University of Birmingham. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Integrative Theology from George Fox University in 2019 and a Master of Arts degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Epic Graduate School from 2014 to 2016. Chesarae also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American/Black Studies from San Francisco State University. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained several from LinkedIn, including "A Day In The Life of a Data Scientist" and "Learning Data Analytics: 1 Foundations" in March 2023, as well as "Embracing Conflict as a Gift," "Hiring a Chief Data Officer," and "Organizing Your Remote Office for Maximum Productivity" in November 2022.
