Mercè Boy Roura

Mercè Boy Roura is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, circular economy, and water research. Currently serving as a member of the Coordination Group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform since November 2020, Mercè has previously held positions as a postdoctoral researcher at ICRA, project coordinator and researcher at BETA Technological Center, and visiting researcher at the United States Geological Survey. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability from Universitat de Girona, alongside relevant degrees in Environmental Science and Water Science and Technology. Mercè's research has focused on topics such as aquifer vulnerability, nitrate pollution, and the impact of emerging contaminants on water resources.
