Lawrence Burke

Lawrence Burke is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in software development and engineering leadership. Currently a team member at BETA TECHNOLOGIES, Lawrence contributes to the airborne software development team. Previously, as Director of Engineering at AMETEK PDS, Lawrence led a team focused on advanced aircraft power distribution systems, and held roles including Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, specializing in precision embedded software according to DO-178C standards. Lawrence's entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of Burke Wind, developing affordable residential wind generators. Additional experience includes technical leadership positions at Comcast Cable, GuideWorks, Motorola Mobility, Orbit/FR, Lockheed Martin, Omegavision, and Intelligent Communications Systems. Lawrence holds a degree from Lehigh University.
