Charae Metevia has over 17 years of professional experience. Charae began their career in 2003 as a Key Entry Operator I at SCSC. In 2006, they moved to Custom Glass Services, Inc. as a Project Controls Coordinator. In 2011, they joined Block Band Music & Publishing, LLC. as a Business Manager. In this role, they were responsible for social media marketing, graphic design, email marketing and campaign management, as well as conducting interviews of potential new team members, working closely with the CEO to map out direction for the company, implementing strategies to meet the stated vision and mission, supervising internal department personnel, creating and executing promotions to increase customer base and brand awareness, and submitting business applications to register the company with local, state and federal agencies. In 2016, Charae Metevia began working as an Assistant Project Manager at Chesapeake Glazing Company, Inc. Charae then moved to Ultimate Staffing in 2018 as an Operations Assistant. In 2019, they worked as a Financial Consultant at Financial Education Services Inc. and concurrently as an Assistant Project Manager at Robert A. Aird, Inc. In 2020, they joined BETAH Associates, Inc. as a Project Support Specialist. In addition, Charae Metevia is the Founder of Charae Metevia Enterprises.

Charae Metevia began their educational journey at Smithsburg High School, from which they graduated with a high school diploma. Charae then attended Frederick Community College, earning an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 2013. Charae continued their studies at Strayer University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing in 2016. In 2019, they obtained an Insurance Agent certification from the State of Maryland.
