Virginia's career in the biotech industry began at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they served as Vice President and Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this role, they were responsible for facilitating the development and execution of corporate-level plans, and provided thought leadership and business support to the CEO. Virginia also played a key role in the development of new corporate research strategy and long-range target disease opportunities as a member of the Steering Committee.
